I had a hankerin’ for chocolate last night, but there was none to be found! Then, I remembered something I had read over at Good to Be Crazy … Homemade Chocolate Syrup!!!
1 1/2 cup Water
1 1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Cocoa Powder
Dash of salt
Whisk over low heat until simmering and gets thick.
Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
It took me a while to get it to simmer, but the result was yum-a-licious! You can put it in milk, make hot cocoa… I plan to drizzle it on some icecream tonight!
