I found some pink fabric in the clearance bin at Joann a couple of months ago and decided to try my hand at making the girls matching Easter dresses. The arm holes and I had a few disagreements, but overall it ended up being much easier than I thought. I learned a couple of tricks along the way and was very excited about the way things turned out.
The girls wore their dresses proudly yesterday. Little Sis wanted to hang it up last night so she could wear it again today. She’s so sweet.

The view from the back… and a view of baby girls’ mullet… blowing in the wind.
Side view… I got the pattern from the book One Yard Wonders. It’s the ballet top dress.
Sweet sisters.
I am enjoying making clothes for the girls… but Big Brother is feeling a little left out. I’ll have to figure out how to make some clothes for him. I did add a big number 6 applique to a shirt for his birthday this year. Maybe I’ll try my hand at making him some PJ shorts.
